The Rolling Lab
Our mobile test truck brings testing technology
for load stability directly to your site
- Safety through standards-compliant testing
in accordance with EUMOS 40509 and DIN 55415 - Fact-based decisions and optimization potential
regarding safety, cost savings and the right stretch film - Practical. Across Europe.
and always on site at your facility
Our Testing Center on Wheels
We make load securing measurable, transparent and reliably certifiable.
Real-world conditions instead of theoretical assumptions
Our mobile testing system – the Rolling Lab – is designed for companies across the entire supply chain that want to optimize their load securing in a measurable and transparent way. To do this, we bring our testing equipment in the truck directly to your facility. Our experts test your load units on site in accordance with EUMOS 40509 and DIN EN 55415 and, after successful testing of different deformation types and displacements, issue a Europe-wide recognized test certificate. This also includes testing alternatives for process and cost optimization around your wrapping process and the stretch films used.
Benefits for more than one target group
As precise as our team’s approach with the Rolling Lab is, the range of applications for the resulting evaluations is just as wide. Shippers and industrial companies use the tests to safely design transportable load units. Logistics service providers can gain valuable insights for load space planning and reducing transport damage. Process planners validate wrapper settings and packaging patterns under real loads, while quality managers have the opportunity to regularly check load securing standards and document them in an audit-ready way.

How we test your load stability on site
Our mobile test truck brings state-of-the-art testing technology directly to your facility. As a mobile testing center, it enables tests to evaluate load stability according to EUMOS 40509 (simulation of horizontal acceleration forces up to 0.8 g, e.g. emergency braking or evasive maneuvers) and according to DIN 55415 to determine the tilt stability of load units. This allows the dynamic stability and static holding force of your packaging solutions to be reliably assessed. During the tests, we obtain data that also helps us optimize your film use and objectively compare the stretch films to be used. All tests are carried out directly on site – with no need to ship test pallets to external laboratories. This saves time, reduces costs and delivers fast, practical results for more safety in your supply chain.
One laboratory on wheels. Three test methods for your secured load.

Acceleration track
Measurement of load retention under defined acceleration forces
- Test standard in accordance with EUMOS 40509
- Test with 0.5 g (up to 0.8 g is possible)
- High-speed camera system
- Pallet size: 1,200 x 1,200 mm
- Pallet weight: <1,500 kg
- Certificate confirming compliance with stability criteria

Tilt test
Determination of the tilt stability of loading units
- Test standard in accordance with DIN 55415
- 3D camera system for recording movement
- 30° angle of inclination
- Test certificate with measurement results

Down Gauging & Right Gauging
Film optimisation for optimum pallet stability
- Requirements analysis carried out by our experts – directly on site
- Optimal adjustment of film thickness by reducing or increasing it
- Greater strength for higher holding forces
- Reduction in the number of wraps and wrapping time
- Focus on high output/pallet throughput
As one of Europe’s leading manufacturers, we see it as our responsibility to contribute to greater safety in the supply chain and to cost optimization for our customers. The Rolling Lab combines both ambitions and brings expertise to the customer that goes beyond the film itself.
