Polifilm invests three million euros in a new production hall for Polifilm Osterburken

Polifilm Osterburken GmbH is sending a positive signal to the local economy by celebrating the laying of the foundation stone for the construction of a new production hall on July 3, 2025. After the planned completion in December 2025, three additional extrusion lines will be put into operation in the new building in the RIO industrial park. These will primarily be used to produce packaging and label films.

However, with the new hall, the film specialist is not only expanding its production capacities, but also creating up to twelve new jobs. “We are deeply connected to the region. This makes it all the more important for us to grow together locally,” says Jens Kölble, Managing Director at Polifilm Osterburken, commenting on the investment and highlighting the importance of the close connection between the region and economic players.

The colleagues on site used the laying of the foundation stone to place a time capsule in the foundation.
