POLIFILM PROTECTION MANUFACTURING, our German production facility is conveniently located in the triangle between the Ruhr, Cologne and Rhine-Main areas. Since the early 1980s, we have been developing and producing highly specialised, advanced natural rubber based protective films and adhesive solutions for a wide range of industries and applications, especially for the stainless steel, aluminium and profile extrusion industries.

With modern equipment, a sophisticated test laboratory and a team of experienced application and development specialists, the site guarantees our customers the highest quality, innovative, high performance products and solutions. Many innovations originate from here, for example solutions for fibre laser cutting at the fastest speeds in the industry, for extreme deep-drawing using PE films or for perfect adhesion to modern, contemporary surfaces.

What makes us unique? We produce our own natural rubber adhesives from dried and pre-processed natural rubber. Natural rubber, resins and solvents are mixed to form a homogeneous adhesive mass This is then applied to the carrier film and dried. The advantage for our customers: Thanks to our own formulations, we can optimally adapt the adhesive forces to the requirements of the surface to be protected.

Even with technically demanding surface structures such as deep texture embossing, contemporary visual designs or ultra-matt surfaces, our adhesive development in Wipperfürth guarantees stable and secure adhesion throughout the entire manufacturing and processing chain. A high initial tack is guaranteed, as is excellent flow behaviour of the adhesive for optimal anchoring onto the respective surface structure.
