As an electronics technician for industrial engineering, power generation systems and distribution are part of your everyday work. This means that you are responsible for electronic tasks, contributing significantly to ensuring a smooth production process. You will be present when new facilities are put into operation, existing systems are maintained, or when instructing colleagues in their operation. Are you interested in electrical engineering, electrical circuits and their operation? Do you enjoy problem solving and have an eye for detail?

Your training at POLIFILM

Within the company, internal training workshop, and vocational training

Your training will normally last for 3.5 years, however, this maybe reduced to 3 years as a result of excellent performance. You will be deployed within the company and gain experience and training in different departments. In vocational schooling, you will learn important background knowledge and theoretical foundations. During your training, you will keep a digital report book and work closely with your trainers.

YOUR EXAMS

During your training, you will have an intermediate examination at the end of the 2nd year followed by a final examination. The exams are both in oral and written form.

YOUR VOCATIONAL SCHOOL

In vocational school, you will learn theoretical foundations and essential knowledge needed for your work in the company. You will attend the “Hugo Junkers” vocational school centre in Dessau-Roßlau.

YOUR WORK AT POLIFILM

In addition to an exciting apprenticeship being involved in ongoing day-to-day operations, there are numerous other opportunities and exciting projects with other apprentices at POLIFILM that await you.

YOUR TRAINING WORKSHOP

The theoretical knowledge you gain in vocational school, can be applied in practice in the training workshop. Your training school is the Education Centre in Bitterfeld-Wolfen.
