Whether it is a question of testing the recipe of a new type of film solution or contributing to a publicly funded research project, new ideas take shape in our POLIFILM EXTRUSION technical centre at the Weißandt-Gölzau site.
In-house testing under scaled production conditions
Here, films and processes can be tested quickly and cost effectively under a scaled production environment, before they are safely transferred to industrial scale production trials.
Scaled production testing
We test new film recipes with alternative raw materials as well as film compositions consisting of different layers for our customers and partners in scaled production testing using all common processing methods. Both blown film and cast film extrusion machines are available for use during testing in our technical centre for as well as being equipped with a modular inspection unit and corona post-treatment.

- Mono, 3 and up to 7-layer blown film lines
