In Weiβandt-Gölzau, Saxony-Anhalt, the POLIFILM Group operates Europe’s largest production site for film extrusion. In addition to the EXTRUSION sub-group, you will also find Poli-Coat GmbH located here. Since the late 1990s, it has been a proven specialist in the production of self-adhesive co-extruded surface protection films. It was specifically founded to bring the production know-how of our Israeli CO-EX centre of excellence – POLEG Plastics Industries – to Europe and was established in close collaboration with our experts from Ashkelon.
To this day, Poli-Coat and POLEG work closely together ensuring identical consistently high standards and quality. As a result, POLFILM has a broad production base, enabling flexible responses to customer needs and quick global deliveries, thanks to the central location of Poli-Coat in Europe. The Weißandt-Gölzau production site offers an optimal infrastructure for raw material procurement, storage, and logistics, allowing Poli-Coat to leverage synergies and combine customer specific, high-quality solutions with a competitive base.

Thanks to innovative wide-die extrusion technology
In some industries, such as the glass industry, extremely wide protective films are required, depending on the application. Therefore, Poli-Coat delivers co-extruded surface protection films up to a width of 3,220 mm. This allows you to cover particularly large areas with just one film width, eliminating the need of overlapping film lamination. This saves material and time, making your production more efficient and decreasing the risk of wrinkles, bubbles, or tunnelling, ensuring reliable surface protection and cost-effective production.
